C’est un greffon de délai qui sonne bien avec quelques fonctionnalités originales.
Il y a des distorsions sur le signal retardé qu’on peut moduler avec des LFO.

Aussi, le logiciel devrait être capable de reconnaître le tempo et la signature rhythmique de l’hôte. Je n’ai pas vérifié.

bonjour,

j’ai un bogue avec Dragonfly reverb qui se produit dans certaine conditions assez particulières. J’ai d’ailleur eu du mal à éliminer les éléments non pertinents et à rendre répétable l’occurence du bogue :

Attention, je vous conseille de baisser le volume de votre carte son, quand le bogue se produit, Dragonfly se met à générer un boucan infernal.

Bogue avec carla :

  • Ajouter le greffon LV2 “C* AmpVTS - Tube amp + Tone stack” et connecter son entré à system(capture_1)
  • Ajouter le greffon VST “Compressor Mono” de LSP et connecter son entré à la sortie de ““C* AmpVTS - Tube amp + Tone stack”
  • Ajouter le greffon LV2 “Dragonfly room reverb” et connecter ses entrés à la sortie de “Compressor Mono” et ses sorties dans les system(playback)
  • Le diagramme des connexions devrait maintenant ressembler à l’image “carla.png” en pièce jointe
  • Dans le greffon “Dragonfly room reverb” regler “dry level” et/ou “early level” à 0%
  • Sauvegarder la session.
  • Quitter et Relancer Carla
  • Charger la session précédement sauvegardé
  • et là, c’est le drame, c’est comme le son était amplifié à fond

Le même bogue dans qtractor :

  • afficher le mixeur (touche F9)
  • Ajouter le greffon LV2 “C* AmpVTS - Tube amp + Tone stack” dans l’entrée master (clique droit > ajouter greffon)
  • Ajouter le greffon VST “Compressor Mono” de LSP
  • Ajouter le greffon LV2 “Dragonfly room reverb”
  • Activer tous les greffons (petit rond noir à côté de chaque greffon dans la tranche “entrée master”)
  • Dans la tranche “entrée master”, activer moniteur.
  • la vue mixeur devrait ressembler à l’image jointe “qtractor mixeur.png” (sauf pour le style sombre)
  • Dans le greffon “Dragonfly room reverb” regler “dry level” et/ou “early level” à 0%
  • Sauvegarder le projet
  • Quitter et Relancer qtractor (je suis pas sûr que ça soit nécéssaire)
  • Charger le projet précédement sauvegardé
  • et là, c’est le drame, c’est comme le son était amplifié à fond

Note supplémentaire : le même bug se produit avec les LV2 “Dragonfly room reverb” et “Dragonfly hall reverb”. Je n’ais pas testé les versions vst.

Une chaîne de caractères accentuée déclenche une erreur d’exécution.
Donc, ce problème est spécifique à la version traduite.

Hélas, je n’ai pas su identifier une marche à suivre pour reproduire ce problème.

Une exception est levée, elle ne plante pas l’interface graphique de Carla, mais il se pourrait que cela entraîne des conséquences néfastes.

Bonjour,

Je viens de voir que les réglages des greffons VST de LSP ne sont pas enregistré (ou pas rappelé) dans les sessions carla.

Mise en évidence du problème :

  • démarrer carla
  • ajouter un greffon VST de la suite LSP (par exemple expander mono)
  • modifier les réglages du greffon
  • sauvegarder la session
  • Créer une nouvelle session (bouton Nouveau) et cliquer “oui” pour enlever tous les greffons déjà présents
  • charger la session précédemment sauvegardée (bouton ouvrir)

Résultat : le greffon est chargé, mais les réglages sont ceux par défaut, pas ceux qui auraient dû être enregistré lors de la sauvegarde.

Note : j’ai testé les cas suivants pour bien identifier le problème

  • greffon VST “Expander Mono” de lsp dans carla ⇒ reviens aux réglages par défaut
  • greffon VST “Impulse Responses” de lsp dans carla ⇒ reviens aux réglages par défaut
  • greffon VST “3 Band EQ” de DISTHRO dans carla ⇒ les réglages sont bien rechargés
  • greffon VST “Dragonfly Hall Reverb” de Michael Willis and Rob vd Berg dans carla ⇒ les réglages sont bien rechargés
  • greffon VST “Expander Mono” de lsp dans qtractor ⇒ les réglages sont bien rechargés

Yruama a rapporté qu’il ne parvenait pas à ouvrir IR.lv2 (1.3.3~dfsg0-1) avec Carla (2.0.0-0librazik2) sur LZK-2.
Plus précisément :

J’ai constaté que l’IGU de plusieurs greffons de la suite LSP boguais avec certain hôte. Les résultats diffèrent selon l’hôte utilisé. Par exemple, “LSP Expander Mono” avec :

  • Carla : l’IGU est figé, mais le plugin fonctionne. Dans le journal, il y a plusieur erreur “CarlaRingBuffer::tryWrite(0x55907dcbc514, 3304): failed, not enough space”.
  • jalv.gtk : lancé depuis une console, le greffons plante avec une erreur de segmentation.
  • jalv.qt5 : la fenêtre n’affiche qu’une toute petite parti de l’IGU et n’est pas redimensionnable.
  • qtractor : là, ça à l’air de fonctionner correctement.
  • ardour5 : là aussi ça fonctionne.

Petit rappel, après plusieurs semaines sans encombre, je n’arrivais plus à lancer Ardour, donc les seuls plaintes en terminal étaient : “Instruction non permise”. Même problème avec Mixbus et Hydrogen. Par contre aucun souci avec Reaper, Qtractor ou Carla.
